Serving the Islamic Community in Japan: Our New Boarding Center Project
“For Happy Children” works to improve the well-being of children and communities around the world. In this context, we are proud to partner with the Shirayuri organization, which serves communities in need in Japan. In this project, we aim to train Ustaz and Ustazah by building a boarding center next to the Blue Mosque in Nagoya.
Project Goal and Details
Project Objective:
We aim to train Ustaz and Ustazah to better serve the Islamic community in Japan. In line with this goal, we will establish a residential center next to the Blue Mosque in Nagoya. This center will be the first of its kind in Japan and will play an important role in Islamic education.
Project Details:
The Shirayuri organization serves Muslim and non-Muslim communities throughout Japan. We serve more than 200 people per week, offering classes for children and adults, Friday and daily prayer services. With this project, we aim to make Islamic education more mainstream and realize our goal of raising ALIM and USTAZ.
Cost and Funding:
“The total cost of the project is 400 thousand USD, half of which needs to be raised in the first phase. After collecting the first half, we will continue to work for the remaining funds.”
